Dried Flower Wreath (Intermediate)
What You’ll Need:
A wreath base (grapevine, wire hoop, or foam ring)
Dried flowers (lavender, statice, baby’s breath, strawflower, eucalyptus, etc.)
Floral wire
Floral tape or hot glue gun
Scissors or wire cutters
Ribbon for hanging (optional)
Step-by-Step:
Plan Your Design:
Lay out your dried flowers in small bundles. You can stick to a color scheme or go wild with texture and variety.Bundle the Flowers:
Create mini bunches of 3–5 stems. Wrap the base of each bunch with floral tape or wire.Attach to Wreath Base:
Starting at one section of the wreath, secure each bundle using floral wire, layering them slightly to hide stems.Continue Around:
Work clockwise around the wreath, overlapping bundles to create fullness and flow.Secure the End:
Tuck your last bundle under the first to create a seamless look. Secure with extra wire if needed.Finishing Touch:
Add ribbon for hanging or a bow if you’d like. Display your wreath indoors or in a dry, covered space.
